In order to see sleep data, you must sleep with an Apple Health compatible device and the Apple Health Sleep mode turned on. You can do this by opening the Health app and turning on a Sleep schedule. After doing this and going to sleep, your Apple Health compatible device should automatically track your sleep and Timbre can import it. If you’re still not seeing data, make sure that your device (Whoop, Oura, etc.) has enabled exporting of data to Apple Health.

In order to get accurate sleep data, we rely on reporting from Apple Health. As long as you are wearing an Apple Health compatible device that can export sleep data to Apple Health, you should be able to see it in Timbre.

In order to get rankings, you must use an Apple Health compatible device to generate sleep data and then record a sleep session on the “Sleep” tab. By listening to a soundscape while sleeping, Timbre can then determine which sounds best help you sleep and rank them in our “Ranking” tab.
